Graveside services for Margaret Elizabeth "Monk"
Ajax, 85, will be held at 3:30 today at Henry Cemetery with Memorial
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She died Sunday, March 30, 1997, at Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South
Carolina. She was a graduate of Corinth High School, Mississippi University for
Women and received her masters degree from Vanderbilt University. She was a
retired placement director for the American Red Cross and had served as an
officer in the U.S. Navy. A world traveler, she owned a boutique in Paris,
France and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews. |
