ELMER BURRESS, 85
CORINTH-Funeral services for James "Elmer" Burress, 85, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Corinthian Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Bostick officiating.  Burial will be in Henry Cemetery.
He died Saturday, November 6, 1993, at Magnolia Hospital.  He was the owner of Burress Grocery Store and Burress Generator Shop.  A member of Foote Street Church of Christ, he was the husband of the late Jewel Horn Burress.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Burress of Corinth and Jimmy Burress of Pekin, Ill; two sisters, Ruby Jackson of Glen and Grace Batavia of Corinth; five grandchildren, Vicki Roach, Cindy Leatherwood, David Burress, Judy Duncan, and Charisa Burress; and four great grandchildren, Bobby G. Roach, Amy Roach, Jennafer Leatherwood and Bryson Duncan.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
