WILLIAM C.F. MATHIS
Services for William C.F. Mathis, 65, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Coleman East Funeral Chapel.
He died Monday in the Veterans Hospital in Memphis after an extended illness.
Burial will be in the Corinth National Cemetery with Rev. Cecil Bennett officiating.
Mr. Mathis was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired farmer and a disabled World War II veteran.
Survivors are, his wife, Mrs. Minnie Bass Mathis of Corinth, 2 sons, Tom Mathis of Memphis, Tennessee, and Dewey Knight of Corinth; 4 daughters, Mrs. Ruth Hill of Memphis, Mrs. Lorraine Wooley, Mrs. Faye Hastings and Mrs. Linda Phifer, all of Corinth; 2 brothers, Wesley Mathis and Charles Mathis, Billy Ellsworth of Corinth; 1 sister, Mrs. Ruby Justice of Corinth; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Coleman East Funeral Chapel will be in charge of arrangements.
