SHULTS RITES WILL BE HELD AT FARMINGTON
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Farmington Church for Mrs. Malissie Shults, 87, who died this morning at 3:15 at the home of her son, J.W. Shults near Farmington following a prolonged illness.  Last rites will be conducted by Rev. J.O. Guntharp of Corinth.  Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery with McPeters Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shults had been in declining health for some time and her death was a shock to her host of friends.  She had resided in Alcorn County practically all of her life and was highly respected by those who knew her.  She was preceded in death a number of years by her husband.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jim Neely; 3 sons J.N. Shults with whom she made her home, T.P. Shults of Jackson, Tennessee, and J.W. Shults of this county.
(This should be Mrs. Jim McNeely.  She was born Aug. 15, 1871 (Maggie) and died Oct. 24, 1948 and is buried in Farmington Cem.  Her husband was John James McNeely born Dec. 20, 1870 and died Aug. 14, 1931 also buried in Farmington Cem.)
