MRS. SMITH, 75, SUCCUMBS
Mrs. Emma L. Smith, 75, died Thursday in the Tippah County Hospital in Ripley, Mississippi.
Mrs. Smith, a resident of Corinth, was a Baptist. She had been ill for a number of years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Brush Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Lester Spencer will officiate. McPeters Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1967.
Survivors include one grandson, Otis Willingham, Corinth and 5 great grandchildren. Friends of Mrs. Smith will be the pallbearers.
