VIRGINIA COOK, 69
RIPLEY-Funeral services for Virginia Cook, 69, will be held at 3 p.m. today at Lone Oak Baptist Church near Kossuth with the Revs. Pete Wooley and Warren Jones officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak Church Cemetery.
She died Saturday, March 29, 1997, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Prentiss County. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Nancy Mohundro Stone, and her husband, Tommy Cook.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Gray of Glen and Carol Jean Williams of Counce, Tennessee; two sons, Thomas Parker and James Parker of Corinth; two sisters, Edna Mills of Booneville and Bertha Jo Miller of Memphis, Tennessee; a brother, Junior Jolly of Texas, 11 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 4 step great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rex McGee, Bobby Colton, David Parker, Carl Byrd, Louis Wooley, and Willie Wooley.
