William Hoyt Horn Obituary

WILLIAM HOYT HORN
Mr. Hoyt Horn, 75, died Thursday morning at Baptist Central Hospital in Memphis after a two month's illness.
Mr. Horn was treasurer of West Corinth Baptist Church, a realtor, and a landowner.  He served as Circuit Court Clerk from 1940-1948.  A former school teacher, he was a member of the Corinth City School Board. He was a graduate of Kossuth High School and Memphis State University.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Henry Cem. The Rev. Bobby Burress and the Rev. Wayne Campbell will officiate.
Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Margaret Ann Horn of Anchorage, Alaska; two sons, Larry Horn of Hixon, TN and Ralph Horn of Memphis; a sister, Mrs. Jewell Burress of Corinth; a brother, Les Horn of Corinth; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Pratt, Billy Carl Lipford, Hershel Voyles, Edwin Voyles, Harold Sherard and Herman Ginn.
Honorary pallbearers are deacons of West Corinth Baptist Church.
Visitation is to be 5-9 p.m. Friday at McPeters Funeral Home.
McPeters Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
