WILLIAM DAVIS, 71
BURNSVILLE-Funeral services for William C. Davis, 71, were held at 1 p.m. Monday at Cutshall Funeral Home with Minister John Hardwick officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
He died Saturday, March 29, 1997, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ and a World War II veteran of U.S. Army. He was retired from Intex Plastics.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Dannie Lee Raper Davis of Burnsville; a daughter, Judy Evans of Burnsville; a son, Jerry Otis Davis of Corinth; two brothers, Solomon Zachary Davis of Bolivar, Tennessee, Philmore Davis of Corinth; two half brothers, Everett Lee Davis and Larry Gene Davis, both of Corinth; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Johnny Brown, Ronnie Lee Brown, Earnest Rorie, Leon Powers, Gary Orick and Frank Davis.
