Services for Patricia Ann McDaniel Blount, 52, of Carrollton, who died of cancer Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home.

Mrs. Blount was an accountant with BFMW Accounting Group and a homemaker. A native of Greenwood, she lived in the Greenwood and Carroll County area all of her life. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and Holmes Community College in Goodman. She was a member of North Carrollton Baptist Church, where she served as church clerk for several years and was active in other church activities.

She is survived by her husband, Henry "Buddy" Blount Jr. of Carrollton; a daughter, Laura Michelle Blount of Carrollton; two brothers, Charles "Lefty" McDaniel and Willard McDaniel, both of Greenwood; and one sister, Eloise Jones of Minter City.

The Rev. Archie Goodwin and the Rev. Jerry Smith will officiate at the services.

Burial will be in Malmaison Cemetery in Carroll County.

Pallbearers will be North Carrollton Baptist Church deacons Wilton Neal, Lem Rogers, Henry Allen Dunn, Ronnie Smith, Jack Vance, Glenn Stevens, Benny Scaife, Gerald Gregg and Donnie Daves.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees and former employees of BFMW Accounting Group.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 this evening at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the North Carrollton Baptist Church Building Fund.
