Services for Fannie Lee Carpenter, 93, of Greenwood, who died of heart failure, Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Golden Age Nursing Home, will at 11 am Friday at Williams and Lord Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carpenter as a homemaker. She was born in Black Hawk and resided in the Carroll and Leflore Counties area all of her life and was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Black Hawk. She had been a resident of Golden Age Nursing Home for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Carpenter.

She is survived by two daughters, Juanita Smith and Jewel Beier, both of Greenwood and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8pm today.

The Rev. Larry Edwards will officiate at the services.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Coward, Pete Cox, Bobby Carpenter, Tim Smith, Charles Mims, Steve Daves, Percy Daves and Bobby Robertson.

Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery in Black Hawk.
