Services for Lonnie Floyd Horne, 54, of Carrollton, who died of heart failure Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital, were at 2 p.m. today at Williams & Lord Funeral Home.

Mr. Horne was a mechanic. A native of Sunflower County, he had lived in the Greenwood area for most of his life. He attended the Church of Christ.

He is survived by a son, Jeffrey Horne of Carrollton; a daughter, Angie Crick of Greenwood; two sisters, Ann Taylor of Benoit and Jeanette Brown of Arkansas; 10 brothers, Bill Horne, David Horne, Johnny Horne and Ben Horne, all of Cleveland, Jimmy Horne, Henry Horne and Donald Horne, all of Sunflower, Thomas Horne of Carrollton, Bobby Horne of Benoit and Timmy Horne of Indianola; and two grandchildren.

The Rev. O. Lawrence Perkins officiated at the services. Burial was in Old Union Cemetery in Carroll County.

Pallbearers were Donnie Hoover, Terry Malone Sr., Lynn Haley, Wyatt Clark, Daryl Bush and T.F. Glenn.

Honorary pallbearers were Rusty Carpenter, Glenn Jones, Hans Campbell and Aubrey Shaw.

Visitation was from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
