Pioneers of Carroll County

 

The gentleman was Thomas Dennis Robinson, b. 1847 in Carrollton, (my grandfather)

The lady, his sister - my great Aunt, was Sarah Elizabeth (Sally) Robinson (wed Poindexter), b. 1849 in Carrollton.  They both died in Texas.
Their parents were John Robinson and Malinda Carpenter (she was dau of Dennis Carpenter, of Carroll County).  John and Malinda married at Carrrollton on January 15, 1845, by Rev. J. D. Neal.  Malinda died in 1849 from complications
after the birth of her daughter.
