June Meeting of the CCHGS

This is a FREE site provided by the MSGen Web Project.

05/30/14 was the last day I modified this page.

The Copiah Co. Historical & Genealogical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the J.T. Biggs Memorial Library in the back room to view the new Copiah Co. Truck Farming Exhibit on loan from the Miss. Dept. of Archives & History.  This is a wonderful exhibit you won't want to miss.  It will be on display during the month of June.  Then we will move down the street to the new Crystal Springs cemetery to discuss the C.S. Guided Cemetery Tour to take place on the 28th.  Before the date of the tour, there will be a dress rehersal.  More information on that to come later.

For those of you who don't recieve the paper, you might want to access this link to read the articles that came out this week in the Meteor and Courier about the tour.  Sometimes the pictures cover part of the articles but I hope you can read most of it.    http://www.iclassifiedsnetwork.com/content.aspx?IsHome=1&MemberID=1230&module=Page&ID=1451

I'll send you a schedule of events for June 27th & 28th as soon as it's ready - and don't forget - we need to sell ads for the sourvenir book.  The deadline for all ads is Friday, June 6th, so if you know of someone or a company that might want to place an ad in the book, please contact them ASAP and let me know.

We have been receiving some e-mails from individuals who are exciting about the event.  Please spread the word and thank you for your support.
