Beauregard Cemetery is located in the town of Beauregard in southern Copiah County, Mississippi.  It can be reached from Interstate Highway 55 by taking exit 51 and going east for 3.8 miles where you will run into old highway 51.  Then turn left on old highway 51 and go north for approximately one mile. Turn right on Bahala road, cross the double railroad tracks, and keep to the left. The cemetery is on the left. The oldest recorded grave is 1862.  The town of Beauregard including the cemetery was destroyed by a tornado in 1883.  Some markers were replaced, but a number weren't. Thus the absence of a marker does not indicate that a particular person was not buried there. 

There are approximately 572 identifiable grave markers.  There are additional graves with no markers.  The author made this listing the week of August 6, 2000.  The information comes from the tombstones.  In addition reference was made to World War I registration data, the Social Security Death Index database, the Federal Census, and the Copiah County marriage records. Where tombstones list birth dates and no death, that information was recorded.  The individual may still be alive.  Reference was made to a previous listing made in 1951 by Miss Francis A. Cook and to another listing in 1985.   Every attempt was made to ensure accuracy, but some stones were very difficult to read.
