Franklin Chapel [aka "Lick Skillit"] Methodist Church Cemetery is located in Copiah County, Mississippi, about 2.5 miles north of Beauregard, MS, on Stegall Road. The cemetery is situated approximately three quarters of a mile from the church. The church facility is currently used as a hay barn. There are approximately 70+ grave sites. Several of the grave stones and about 10 funeral home markers [FHA] are indecipherable. The cemetery is well- maintained and still in use, with the last burial in 1997.

Directions: (1) From North: Take US 51 South toward Wesson, turn left on Bahala Road (approximately one mile north of Wesson) for 0.3 miles to the railroad track; turn left on Beauregard Road for 1.5 miles; turn left on Stegall Road for 1.0 miles; the cemetery is located on the right side of the road. (2) From South: Take US 51 North from Brookhaven area; continue through Wesson for approximately one mile to Bahala Road (on the right); turn right on Bahala; follow directions above.
