On
Monday the 7th day of May, 1838, will be exposed to public sale, for
cash, at the Courthouse door of Copiah
County, two 40 acre
tracts of land, lying 3 miles above Gallatin
on the Jackson Road,
the same on which Hezekiah Briscoe now resides, and upon which his plantation
is cleared. Levied on as the property of
Hezekiah Briscoe, and will be sold to satisfy plaintiff’s claim in the above
stated case.
