Obituary of Albert Ramelle Anderson

EDWARDS CITIZEN IS DEATH VICTIM
   A. R.  Anderson, 80, Dies Tuesday Afternoon: Funeral Services Today

     A.R. Anderson, 80, prominent citizen of Edwards, died at his home yesterday afternoon at three o’clock following an illness of several seeks.

     Mr. Anderson had been a lifelong resident of Edwards. He received his education inthe public schools of Hinds county and the University of Kentucky.

     His counsel was often sought by those who knew him as a man of honor and integrity and his passing is deeply mourned by loved ones and hosts of friends.

     Mr. Anderson is survived by three sons; H.V. Anderson of Ranger, Texas: A.C. Anderson of Colorado, Texas; A. R. Anderson of Houston, Texas;  two daughters, Mrs. Lulah A. Clark of Jackson;  Mrs. S. L. Bryan of Edwards; eighteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  His wife, Mrs. Emma Hall Anderson, preceded him to the grave last year.

     Funeral services will be held from the home at Edwards this morning at 10:30 conducted by Dr. Colmery, Dr. W.T. Lowery, and Rev H.L. Daniels.  Pallbearers will be A.J. Lewis, W.A. Montgomery, E.F. Crisler, H. A. Cannada, A. E. Harris, V.J. Angelo, J. H. Tatum and C.D. Noble.
