Location: The Boggan Cemetary is on the north side of Old Highway Six, approximately 4 1/4 to 4 1/2 miles east of Hatley, on Boggan Cemetary Road. It sits on the edge of a ridge and is enclosed by a chain link fence encompassing just over a half-acre, with an iron double-gate. Two large, stately shade trees stand on each side of the entrance. There is evidence of a large number of unmarked graves, and some of the stones are broken and a handful are too weathered to read, but overall the cemetary is quite well kept.

“*” These three are simple in-ground markers, no decoration or words other than the names. They are located side by side, next to C.A. and Martha Boggan.
“**” These markers are poured concrete slabs lying horizontally, the words written rather crudely, as with a pencil-sized stick.
