DEKALB -- Services for Undeane G. McRae were to be held today at 10 a.m. at DeKalb Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Steve Lampkin, Sam J. Hull and Hal Bates officiating. Burial was to be in Pinecrest Cemetery in DeKalb. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 
 

Mrs. McRae, 79, of DeKalb, died Sunday, May 26, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was retired from the Post Office and was a member of DeKalb Presbyterian Church and the Homemaker's Club. 
 

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Lynn Reese and her husband, Dan, of Plano, Texas, Marsha Coward and her husband, Troy, of DeKalb; grandchildren, Brent Reese of McKinney, Texas, Owen Reese of Plano, Texas, Amy Coward and Aaron Coward, both of DeKalb; a sisters, Addie Jean Spinks of DeKalb and Carolyn Barefield of Preston. 
 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron McRae.

Mrs. Null, 71, of Lauderdale, died, Saturday, May 25, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She will be dearly missed by her family who saw the courage and love she showed during her years of coping with her illness. She was a member of Lauderdale Presbyterian Church. 
 

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Hugh Danner Null of Lauderdale; a daughter, Shannon Clay and her husband, Danny, of Lauderdale; her sons, Bob Null and his wife, Teri, of Meridian, John Null and his wife, Rhonda, of Lauderdale, and Todd Null and his wife, Cindy, of Meridian; grandchildren, Lacey Joyner and her husband, Les, Casey Null, Bobbie Null, Bailey Null, Katie Null, Josh Null, Phillip Null, John Henry Null and Jeremy Britt and his wife, Lisa; a great-grandchild, Wesley Britt; sisters, Jenny Dean and Alice Hill and her husband, Bob, of Meridian; brothers, Hardy Irby and his wife, Dolores, of Bucyrus, Ohio, and Thomas Irby and his wife, Carol, of Moscow; and many nieces and nephews; and her two devoted and loving pets who stayed by her side, Mick and Zelly. 
 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Ellen Null; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Irby and a brother, Harold Irby. 
 

Memorials may be made to the Lauderdale County Humane Society or Lauderdale Presbyterian Church.

Ms. Weldy, 30, of Preston, died Friday, May 24, 2002, in her home. She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. She was a 1990 graduate of Philadelphia High School and received her associate's degree in applied science in nursing from Meridian Community College in 1996. 
 

Ms. Weldy was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 
 

Survivors include her fiancé, Todd Bostick of Preston; her parents, Walter and Evelyn Weldy of Philadelphia; sisters, Jennifer L. Stokes and her husband, Charles H., and Christy L. Weldy, all of Philadelphia; a nephew, Chad W. Stokes of Philadelphia; nieces, Whitney L. Stokes, Lanie B. Stokes, Chasity M. Robertson and Holly N. Roberston, all of Philadelphia; a great-nephew, Wyatt Robertson of Philadelphia, and a great-niece, Kaitlyn Robertson of Philadelphia.

Mrs. Mozingo, 90, of Stonewall, died Sunday, May 26, 2002, in Pachuta. 
 

Survivors include her daughters, Lavora Allen and her husband, Ed, and Barbara Jean Williams and her husband, Robert, all of Stonewall; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; sisters Onnie Maye Purcell of Stonewall and Lou Ella Kennedy of Enterprise. 
 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Mozingo; a son, Jack Lamar Mozingo; great-grandson, Michael Dewayne Scrimpshire; great-granddaughter, Angie Allen; her parents, two sisters, Lois Downs and Katie Smith; and two brothers, Delvin and Bevin Smith.

Mrs. Watkins, 85, of Columbia, died Sunday, May 26, 2002. She was born in Neshoba County and was the daughter of the late Thodric H. and Ruth Ellen Spence Wilkerson. She was formerly of Meridian and was a member of St. Andrews Baptist Church. 
 

Survivors include her daughter, Gladys Pilgrim of West Columbia; a son, Willie V. Rush of Indian Trail, N.C.; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. 
 

She was preceded in death by two sons, Billy Earl Rush and James Felix Rush.

Mr. Townsend, 86, of Collinsville, died Sunday, May 26, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice. He was a veteran of World War II.

Mr. Brumfield, 82, of Laurel, died Monday, May 27, 2002, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. He was retired a first lieutenant with the 82nd Airborne, serving in World War II. He received the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and the Oak Leaf Cluster. 
 

He was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Laurel. He was past commander of the American Legion, a member of the V.F.W. and the 40et8. He was a Mason and a Shriner. 
 

Survivors include his wife, Dean Brumfield of Laurel; a son, Mel L. Brumfield of Meridian; a daughter, Martha Roth of Clinton; three brothers, Lacy Brumfield of Tylertown, Wyatt Brumfield of Laurel and O.L. Brumfield of Anderson, S.C.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services for Hubert I. Ethridge will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bill Webb and Bob Followell officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Church Cemetery. 
 

Mr. Ethridge, 83, of Meridian, died Friday, May 24, 2002, in Covington, La. He was retired from the railroad as an engineer having worked for more than 46 years with Norfolk Southern Railroad. 
 

He was born in Kemper County on May 31, 1918. He began his adult life as a sharecropper but after two rained-out cotton crops, moved to Meridian and went to work for the Southern Railroad as a fireman in 1940. He was promoted to engineer in early 1941. He was a well respected engineer until his retirement in 1987. He also ran a small farm for more than 30 years. 
 

He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers for 50 years. His co-workers affectionately called him "Scrap Iron" because of his aggressive freight yard couplings. 
 

He traveled extensively after retirement and loved to tell stories. He loved life, his family, and his friends. 
 

Survivors include his wife, Betty Langhauser Ethridge of Meridian; sons, Wayne Ethridge of Aspen, Colo., and Gary Ethridge of Baton Rouge, La.; stepsons, Raymond Langhauser of Amite, La., Michael Langhauser of Ponchatoula, La.; a granddaughter, Leigh Ethridge; three step-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild; and a brother, Bill Ethridge of Meridian. 
 

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers and a grandson, David Wayne Ethridge. 
 

Pallbearers will be his stepsons and nephews. 
 

Honorary pallbearers will be Norfolk Southern Railroad employees.

Mr. Kelley, 88, of Forkland, Ala., died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital. He was the former co-owner of Kelley-Williams Company in Meridian for more than 21 years before retiring and moving to Alabama. 
 

In his retirement years he continued the business as Kelley-Williams Marina for more than 31 years in Forkland. Clifford was known as the Mercury Master Mechanic throughout East Mississippi and West Alabama as "Kelley." He was awarded the honor of Master Mechanic by Mercury Marine for more than 47 years of experience. He served with the 275th ordnance maintenance company and was part of the fourth D-Day Invasion as a 10 ton wrecker driver bringing in heavy equipment for the troops in France, Germany and Belgium. 
 

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Williams Kelley of Forkland; a brother, Howard Kelley of Baker, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. 
 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Josephine Kelley; brothers, Carl Kelley, Frank Kelley and Randall Kelley; and a sister, Florence Strickland.

Mr. Stokes, 69, of Cuba, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at his home. He was a member of the Church of God Holiness and worked as a forest ranger in Alabama for 17 years. He also was a U.S. Army veteran of the Army National Guard.

NEWTON -- Services for Charles Louis Dudley Sr. were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Newton with the Rev. Billy R. Nichols officiating. Burial was held in the church cemetery. Progressive Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 
 

Mr. Dudley died Friday, May 17, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was born on Sept. 5, 1944 in St. Louis to Bennie and Issac Dudley. He moved to Jonesboro, Ark. and lived with his great-grandparents, Hettie and Robert Sills, while his father served in the military. 
 

Mr. Dudley confessed Christ at a young age and joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Ark. 
 

He went to Booker T. Washington School. He later joined the United States Navy and was a member of the Navy Choir. He was involved in quartet singing. He married Wanda Bridgett in 1963, they had one son after returning to San Diego. He worked for the U.S. government at North Island for 15 years as a jet aircraft servicer. 
 

He was a master mason and was the Grand Lecture of the State of California, a noble of the Mystic Shrine, a Scottish Rite Mason and a grand Inspector General 33 degrees. 
 

After moving to Mississippi, he was employed with Bonhomme, La-Z-Boy, and ESCO, where he retired in May 2001. 
 

Mr. Dudley joined the St. Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Newton, where he served as deacon. He was also a member of the St. Hill Male Chorus. 
 

Survivors include his wife, Doris Dudley of Newton; son, Charles L. Dudley Jr. and his wife, Holly, of San Diego; a daughter Yaminah Dudley of Newton; an adopted son, Ellis Dudley and his wife, Charlene, of San Diego; two step-sons, Kevin Johnson of Hickory and Keith Johnson, of Newton; a step-daughter, Karen Morgan of Newton, grandchildren, Renae and Domique Dudley of California; his mother, Bennie Foulks and his step-father, Robert Foulks of Little Rock, Ark., a sister, Cheryl Foulks of Dallas; four brothers-in-law, Otis Boulton and his wife, Ann, Jessie Boulton and his wife, Lynn, both of Chicago, James Boulton and his wife,Mary, of Hickory, and Linton Boulton of Chicago; one aunt, Ruth Perry and her husband, James, of St. Louis; a niece, Bria Williams of Dallas; a cousin, Louis Sills of Canton and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 
 

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Hardy was a firm supporter of the County Line Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the East Mississippi State Hospital Friends, Inc. of Lauderdale County. He also was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in the House community of Neshoba County.

Johnathan Mars, 4, of Meridian, died Friday, May 31, 2002 at his home. He was momma's angel baby and was a special child that will be missed by all those that knew him. 
 

Survivors include his parents, Andy and Robin Mars, his brother, Josh Mars, his maternal grandparents, Lena and Norman Beitzel, his maternal grandfather, Clyde Garrett, and his paternal grandfather, Johnny Mars, all of Meridian; his great-maternal-grandmother, Lorena McGrew of Collinsville; his great-paternal-grandmother, Cynthia Smith of Meridian; his uncle, Joey Garrett and his wife, Tonya, of Meridian; three aunts, Amber Roberts and her husband, Robert, of Hickory; Lisa White, and Angie Denney and her husband, Mark, all of Meridian; and many relatives and friends. 
 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Esther Smith Dennis. 
 

The family requests memorials be made to Johnathan Andrew Mars Cancer Fund at Community Bank. 
 

Pallbearers will be Mark Denney, Robert W. Roberts, Joey Garrett and Randy Mars.

Graveside services for Robert Gary Keeton Sr. will be held today at 2 p.m. at Enondale Memorial Cemetery with the Revs. Doug Stokes and Docky Hunnicutt officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 
 

Mr. Keeton, 79, of Porterville, died Friday, May 31, 2002, at his home. He was a member of Enondale Memorial, served in World War II and a former Kemper County District 2 Supervisor. 
 

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Hatcher Keeton of Porterville; five children, Lena Myers of Sparr, Fla.; Jerry Keeton and his wife, Becky, of Porterville; Lynn Burnett and her husband, Kerry, of Sumterville, Ala.; and Gladys Cook and her husband, A.J., and R.G. Keeton Jr. and his wife, Cathye, all of Meridian; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. 
 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ola Keeton, his father, William T. Keeton, a grandchild, Rachel Keeton, a great-grandchild, Shyanne Schmick, a sister, Mae Oden and a brother, Jack Keeton. 
 

The family requests memorials be made to the Diabetic Association, the Enondale Cemetery Fund or their favorite charity.

Connor Long, 5, of Millry, died Friday, May 31, 2002, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro.

Mrs. Perry, 94, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Perry in 1987.

Mrs. Ivy, 80, of Lauderdale, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at her home. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and friend. 
 

Survivors include her husband, Wilma W. Ivy of Lauderdale; a daughter, Cynthia Rawson and her husband, Billy, and a granddaughter, Blair Rawson, all of Meridian; a sister-in-law, Syble Holyfield and her husband, the Rev. Marvin, of Pascagoula; and several nieces and nephews. 
 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Rawson and a son, George P. Ivy. 
 

Pallbearers will be deacons from Briarwood Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.

Services for James E. Reynolds will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Garrard, Danny Baliant and Dr. Clarence Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. 
 

Mr. Reynolds, 77, of the Whynot community, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired building contractor and member of Bethany Baptist Church in Whynot. 
 

Mr. Reynolds helped light the first baseball field in Whynot and managed ball teams for years. He served on the board that purchased the community development property and built two churches for Bethany Baptist Church. He taught Sunday School classes and R.A.'s and also worked with the youth of the church for many years. 
 

Mr. Reynolds also served as chairman of the deacons and served as choir director and sang in the church choir for many years. He served on the church finance and building committees and built many homes in the Whynot community. 
 

Survivors include his wife, Delores Reynolds of Whynot; a son, Robert Reynolds and his wife, Susan, of Little Rock, Ark.; two grandchildren, Hope Reynolds and Hall Reynolds of Little Rock; a special son, Bennie Ford of Whynot; a special niece, Hilda Faye Davis, a sister, Martharee Scruggs and two brothers, J.W. Reynolds and Ray Reynolds, all of Whynot. 
 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennie Reynolds, two sisters, Clarice Maxwell and Ethel Flowers, and two brothers, Clyde Reynolds and Charles Reynolds. 
 

The family requests memorials be made to the building fund or cemetery committee at Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Malcom Sawyer of Ponchatoula; three daughters, Carla Sawyer Clark of Mobile, Ala.; Linda Sawyer Poole of Longwood, Fla.; and Wanda Sawyer Heroman of Ponchatoula; a sister, Martha Sutton of Macon, Ga.; a brother, Claude Sawyer of Lafayette; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 
 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Ruby Lee Sawyer, and a brother, Eugene Sawyer.
