Franklin Family Bible Records

The records in this booklet were found inside a small box with the Franklin Family Bible dated 1850. The Bible's binding is broken and the Bible itself contains no record sheets. It's possible the record sheets were once in this Bible, however, there's no way to document this. Until several years before her death the Bible was kept by Lilian P. Jones Franklin, wife of William Riley Franklin Sr. William Riley was the son of Benjamin Curtis Franklin. Benjamin Curtis was the son of John I. G. Franklin. It is believed the Bible originally belonged to John I. G. Franklin and his wife Amanda S. Allbritton.

William Riley Franklin was born in Poplar Springs, Mississippi and his father, Benjamin Curtis was also born in Mississippi. John I. G. Franklin and his wife Amanda S. Allbritton Franklin lived in Pontotoc County, Mississippi ca 1856.
