This indenture made and intered unto this the second day of December 1858 between David Jamison of the State of Georgia of the first part and James D Brame of Pontotoc County Mississippi of the second part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty three Hundred and Thirty Seven Dollars and ten cents ($2337.10/100) in hand paid to the party of the first part, by the party in the second part. The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. The party of the first part hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell to the party of the second part the following described land in Pontotoc County Mississippi; and known and described as follows (to wit) The South East and North West Quarter of section Six (6) of Township Ten (10) Range four (4) and the South half of Section Thirty Two (32) of Township Nine (9) of Range Four (4) East of the Basis(?) Meridian of the Chickasaw Cession containing Six Hundred and Fifty Acres more or less. To have and to hold the above described and hereby granted

premises unto the party of the second part and his heirs forever. The title to which the said party of the first doth hereby warrant and will forever defend unto the party of the second part and his heirs against the claim of all persons whatsoever.

Personally appeared before me-Randolph Mitchell a Justice of the Peace for the Corporation of Pontotoc, John J Jamison who is attorney for D. Jamison and personally known to me and he acknowledged to me that he signed sealed and delivered the foregoing deed. Given under my hand and seal this the 2nd day of December 1858.
