Robert Samuel Hodges Sr. and Nancy E. "Aunt Puss " Wood

Robert Samuel Hodges, Sr. was born about 1842 at Pontotoc County, Mississippi. Samuel and Nancy E. "Aunt Puss" Wood ( born 11 Mar 1848 in Pontotoc County) the daughter of Silas Holloway Wood and Elizabeth Caroline (Eliza) McCarter, were married 15 October 1865. They had the following children: Jim, Silas, Samuel Jr., and Birdie. Samuel served for the CSA and enrolled in Pontotoc County.
