5th Moved and seconded that the Rules of Decorum and Abstract of Principles be read which
was done by unanimous consent of the Church followed by some remarks from some of the
brethren agreed by the Church that the same be read in conference every 3rd meeting
6th Agreed unanimously that we alter the 2nd Article of our Abstract of Principles to read as
follows We believe that the old Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the Revelation of

Death and Sufferings of our Savior by the Administration of the Sacramental feast washing of
the Saints feet

She being in a low state of health after preaching (a quorum of members of Pleasant Hill Church
being present) Sister Jane McMillin expressed a desire to become a member and made the
following Statement at an early period of her life she embraced a hope and connected her self
with the Primitive Baptist Church sometime after her Pastor (Hopewood by name) left the
church joining the Campbelites several of the members she among them went with him she
confessed her error to the Church and asked to be restored in the Church acted accordingly
restoring her to full fellowship

August Term 1866
Pleasant Hill Church met at her regular term Saturday before 3rd Lordís day in August 1866
It being Union Meeting the following Brethren of the Ministry were present J.W. Sammons
Jessie Gaugh W.S. Daniel and our Pastor preaching by W.S. Daniel J.W. Sammons and our
Pastor
Then set in conference called for fellowship when it was made known that Sister Francis Colly
has offended the Brethren and sisters having under her roof a disorderly woman she being present made a Statement to the Church which gave satisfaction to the majority some dissatisfaction the charges were therefore whithdrawn
Invited visiting Brethren and Sisters to seats with us Called for reference none
Opened door for reception of members no application Then proceeded to nominate delegates to our next association.
When the following Brethren were chosen G.T. Cotton Edward Norton W.H. Nance and Thomas
Grace in case of failure We request our Brother Clerk to prepare a letter by the next meeting done in conference August 1866

Preaching by our Pastor and Bro J. A. Norton then Set in conference
All being in peace Visiting Brethren and sisters were invited to Seats with us Opened door for reception of members when Sister Caroline Rich came forward and on the relation of the travel of her mind received with full fellowship after being Baptized called for reference when the case of Bro. Lee & wife for continued absence was taken up he being present arose and stated that the distance he lives and the continued ill health of Sister Lee make up the cause of their absence
and the church agree to forgive them
 The case of Bro Pleasant Hopper for Bankruptcy was next considered and from the fact before us we believed that he has acted in bad faith and failing to give Satisfaction he is therefore excluded this day from Pleasant Hill Church the Baptism of Sister Sarah J. Autry deferred from last meeting and that of Sister Caroline Rich will be attended to at the pool on
tomorrow morning He also recommenced Bro J. A. Norton for Ordering at our next meeting it being the time of our Union Meeting which will meet with us at that time done in conference  Saturday before 3rd Lordís day in June 1868
