The two families are next to each other in the 1850 Pontotoc County census and both are listed as physicians. Second son with Rhody was Maximillian Wade Williamson (Max); then they had a daughter, Rhoda Williamson (who married a Hathcock). The entire family moved in the early 1880's from Union/Lee County to Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. Rhody died in 1887 there. Sometime shortly after that, both sons, now married, and Rhoda (the daughter) and her husband, moved to Pottawatomie County, OT, and homesteaded, founding the town of Brown, OK. T.C. died before Oklahoma statehood, but not before marrying again. His granddaughter, Jesse (called Pete) Williamson, (born about 1896) went to MS to visit relatives, met a Mr. Dorsey, married him and stayed there - probably in Union County. They had only one child, a daughter named Elizabeth (Liz) Dorsey, born about 1928-1929, who graduated from Ole MS. She went to Shawnee, OK, to visit relatives, met Warren Winsett, married him and stayed there. Does anyone remember or know anything about this extended family?
