Copiah County } At a Regular Term of the Probate Court
holden at the Court House in the town of Gallatin in the County aforesaid on
the third Monday the 17th day of April in the Year of Our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and thirty seven and in the 61st year of the
Independence of the United States of America.
President
Thomas Keller, Esq Judge of the Probate Court of the County aforesaid, and
Court being opened according to Law.
Ordered that Webster Gilbert be appointed administrator on
the Estate of Samuel B. Gilbert deceased he having entered into bond in
the penal sum of Eight hundred Dollars with William Martin and Seth Applewhite
as securities.
Ordered that Webster Gilbert administrator of the estate of Samuel
B. Gilbert deceased be granted Letters of Administration on the Estate of
said deceased.
Ordered that a warrant of appraisement issue to Seth Applewhite,
William Mullins, Chester McGee, John Alred and Zias Davis to appraise the
personal Estate of Samuel B. Gilbert deceased.
Ordered that Webster Gilbert administrator of the Estate of Samuel
B. Gilbert deceased be authorized to sell all the personal Estate of said
deceased.
Ordered that Webster Gilbert administrator of the Estate of Samuel
B. Gilbert deceased cause publication to be made according to Law requiring
all persons indebted to said estate to make immediate payment and that having
claims to present them duly authenticated within the time prescribed by Law or
they will be forever band___.

Copiah County } At a Regular Term of the Probate court
of the County & State aforesaid holding at the Court in said County on the
third Monday the 19th day June 1837. There being no Judge present to conduct the business.
The Sheriff
opened Court according to Law and then adjourned until Tuesday morning nine
o’clock.

Wednesday morning Court met pursuant to adjournment.
Ordered that the Inventory & Appraisement of the Estate
of Samuel B. Gilbert deceased be Executed and filed for Record.
Ordered that the Sale Bill of the personal estate of Samuel
B. Gilbert deceased be received and filed for Record.
Ordered that Webster Gilbert appointed administrator
on the Estate of William Gilbert deceased he having entered into Bond in
the penal sum of Twelve hundred dollars with Seth Applewhite and Reuben Isack
as securities.
Ordered that Letters of Administration to Webster Gilbert on the Estate of William
Gilbert deceased.
Ordered that a warrant of appraisement ___ to Seth
Applewhite, William Mullins, Chester McGee, John Alred and Zias Davis to value
and appraise the personal estate of William Gilbert deceased.
Ordered that Webster Gilbert administrator on the Estate of William
Gilbert deceased cause publication to be made according to Law, requesting
those having claims against said to present them and those indebted to make
immediate payments.
Ordered that Webster Gilbert administrator on the Estate of William
Gilbert deceased be authorized to sell the personal estate of said
deceased.
On application of Webster Gilbert administrator of the
Estate of Samuel B. Gilbert dec’d and petition being filed.
Ordered that Citation issue and notice be given to all
persons interested in the Lands tinements and hereditaments of said deceased to
be and personally appear at the next regular Term of this Court and show cause
if any they can why and order shall not them be granted said administrator to
sell the following real estate situated in the County of Copiah viz. NE ¼ of NW
¼ & NW ¼ of SE ¼ of Section 6, Township No. 8, N Range 6 East, containing
77.75/100 acres.
On application of Webster Gilbert administrator of the
estate of William Gilbert deceased and petition being filed. Ordered that Citation issue and notice be
given to all persons interested in said Estate to be and appear at the next
regular Term of this Court and show cause if any they can why an order shall
not then be granted for the sale of the following real estate, situate in the
County of Copiah viz. S ½ W ½ SE ¼ Sect. 5, To. No. 8 N, R 6 East and S ½ W ½
NE ¼ Set. 8, To. No. 8 N R 6 East containing in all 78 88/100 acres.

Copiah County } At a Regular Term of the Probate Court
of sai county holden at the Court house thereof on the third Monday the 16th
day of October in the year 1837.
Present Thomas Keller Esq. Judge of Probate and Court being opened according
to Law.

Ordered that Webster Gilbert administrator of Samuel
Gilbert deceased be authorized to sell the Real estate of said deceased
consisting of the following described land, viz. North West ¼ of South East ¼
and North East ¼ of North West ¼ of Section 6 in Township 8 N, Range 6 East
containing 80 acres more or less on a credit of 12 months purchasers
giving security.
Ordered that Webster Gilbert administrator of the Estate of William
Gilbert deceased be authorized to sell at Public Auction the Real Estate of
said deceased, consisting of the following described Lands, viz. S ½ W ½ NE ¼
of Section 8, Township 8 in Range 6 East, on a credit of 12 months with
purchasers giving note with approved security.
