Services for Mildred Irene Beeson of Brookhaven are 3 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, at Antioch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Beeson, 53, died Oct. 2, 2001, at her residence. She was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 2, 1948, to Edward Hadden and Frances Whitehead Hadden.

She was motel manager for Comfort Inn. She was director of Southern Style and Mississippi Showcase. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where she served as music and youth director before her illness.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are his husband, Jimmy W. Beeson of Brookhaven; her daughters, Charlotte Beeson-King of Austin, Texas, and Chrystal Beeson-Roberts of Long Beach; her brother, Glenn Hadden of Brookhaven; her sisters, Linda Smith of Monticello and Virginia Wallace of Brookhaven; and her grandchildren, Jacob and Adam King of Austin.
