Services for Mrs. Beulah Fore, 75, of McComb, were held at 2 p.m. today from the Antioch Baptist Church in Lawrence County, with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Fore died Tuesday night in a Brookhaven nursing home where she had lived for about four months.
She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Townsend of Lincoln County, and was born Jan. 25, 1888. She had resided on 24th street in McComb prior to moving to Brookhaven.
While here Mrs. Fore was an active member of the South McComb Baptist Church, taking part in church work and Sunday School until her health failed. She lived here for 30 years.
Her survivors are five sisters, Mrs. Abbey Carney and Mrs. Vernon Waldrop, Brookhaven, Mrs. Maggie Bozeman, Winnsboro, La., Mrs. Alice Reid and Mrs. Ernestine Hill, Monticello; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Rev. Fred Sartin officiated at the services, with Catchings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
