Mr. Bracie Lewis,89, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at his home in Harrisville surrounded by his family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 10:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Florence, MS. The service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Due to the current guidelines regarding gatherings, mask or facial coverings must be worn and social distancing is encouraged.

Bracie was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church since 1960. He has been married since 1950. He was a maintenance electrician at Lindsey Wire for 31 years.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers Frank B. Lewis, Marvin Lewis, and James Lewis, Twin sister Mary Lewis Wilson, Grandson Hayden King, Son in Laws Chris Rickels, Carol Cranford.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 70 years Carlene White Lewis, Sons Wendell Lee (Lisa) Lewis of Brandon , Michael Wayne (Candi) Lewis of Harrisville, Daughters Edith K. (Harold) Ross of Florence, Freda Darlene Cranford of Hazlehurst, Beverly Karen (Eddi) Spruiell of Hayden AL, Teresa Ann (Charles) Barber of Florence, 10 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
