Ola L. Sharpe, 89, died Thursday, February 17, 2005, at Copiah Living Center in Crystal Springs. Services are 2 p.m. today at Antioch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services of Crystal Springs is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Sharpe was a native of Star. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Harrisville chapter. Mrs. Sharpe was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church where she also taught Sunday School. She retired as a beautician after 25 years of service.

Survivors include sons: Joseph F. Sharpe, III of Canton and Dickie Lynn Sharpe of Trenton, Mich.; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
