A Sad Death
Mrs. Julia Poag died at her home near Poagville on August 31 after a protracted illness from Typhoid fever. She was the wife of J S Poag, one of the most substantial planters of the east. She was a devoted Christian wife and mother and her life dating from 1875 was directed towards making the world bright for those around her. Her remains were interred in Mt Zion Cemetery after a most touching service by Rev Mr. Legge.
