Mrs Bernice Ferguson Porter, 78, died Sunday at Senatobia Community Hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at C O Pate Funeral Home with burial in Singleton Springs Cemetery of Sarah. She was a member of Hunters Chapel Methodist Church in Sarah. Mrs. Porter, the widow of Leon Douglas Porter, leaves a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Stevens of Sarah; two sons Tom Porter of Walls and Hoyt Porter of Bartlett, Tenn; a brother, Boyce Ferguson of Germantown, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
