TATE, COUNTYI W. H. DOSSETT OF TATE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI BEING TWENTY ONE YEARS OF AGE AND OF SOUND AND DISPOSING MIND MAKE THIS MY LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT.
I GIVE AND BEQUEATH ALL MY ESTATE AND PROPERTY REAL AND PERSONAL AS FOLLOWS, MY WIFE MATTIE DOSSETT TO HAVE ALL MY PROPERTY HER LIFE TIME THEN AT HER DEATH.
MY DAUGHTER ELLEN DOSSETT TO HAVE MY LAND DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS (42 1/2) FORTY TWO AND ONE HALF ACRES OFF EAST SIDE OF EAST HALF OF SOUTH EAST QUARTER OF SECTION (9) TOWNSHIP FOUR, RANGE (6). MY DAUGHTER JENNIE STEVENS TO HAVE LAND DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS, (37 1/2) THIRTY SEVEN AND ONE HALF ACRES OFF WEST PART OF THE EAST HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER, ALL IN SECTION (9) TOWNSHIP FOUR RANGE (6). AT THE DEATH OF MY WIFE, MATTIE DOSSETT, JENNIE STEVENS IS TO PAY TO MY SON TOM DOSSETT THE SUM OF $50.00 OF MY ESTATE AND ELLEN DOSSETT IS TO PAY ANNA LEE GADY AND ROBERT AMERY GADY, MY GRAND CHILDREN, THE SUM OF $50.00 EACH FROM MY ESTATE, AND AT MY WIFE MATTIE DOSSETT'S DEATH I WANT MY PERSONAL PROPERTY EQUALLY DIVIDED BETWEEN MY DAUGHTER JENNIE STEVENS AND ELLEN DOSSETT. I APPOINT AS THE EXECUTOR OF THIS WILL J. E. FERGUSON OF TATE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, IN WITNESS WHERE OF I HAVE SIGNED, PUBLISHED AND DECLARED THIS INSTRUMENT AS MY WILL AND TESTAMENT IN SAID COUNTY, THIS 5th DAY OF OCTOBER 1916.

BEFORE ME CLERK-MONDAY IN ____1922 IN THE MATTER OF CERTAIN INSTRUMENT OF WRITING PURPORTING TO BE THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF W. H. DOSSETT, DECEASED.
THIS DAY CAME BEFORE THE UNDERSIGNED CLERK OF SAID COURT, J. W. ANGLIN, SUBSCRIBING WITNESS TO A CERTAIN INSTRUMENT OF WRITING, BEARING DATE 5th OF OCT, 1916 AND PURPORTING TO BE THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF W. H. DOSSETT LATE OF TATE COUNTY, DECEASED, WHO AFTER BEING DULY SWORN DEPOSES AND SAYS THAT HE SAW THE SAID W. H. DOSSETT SIGN PUBLISH AND DECLARE THE SAID INSTRUMENT OF WRITING ON THE DAY OF ITS DATE AS AND FOR HIS LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT, THAT HE THE DEPONENT SIGNED THE SAME AS SUBSCRIBING WITNESS THERE TO IN THE PRESENCE OF THE SAID W. H. DOSSETT AND AT HIS REQUEST THAT HE SAW W. S. MERRILL THE OTHER SUBSCRIBING WITNESS SIGN SAID INSTRUMENT IN THE PRESENCE OF SAID W. H. DOSSETT AND AT HIS REQUEST, THAT HE AND THE OTHER SUBSCRIBING WITNESS SUBSCRIBED THE SAME IN THE PRESENCE OF EACH OTHER, AND THAT AT THE TIME OF SIGNING SAID WRITING THE SAID W. H. DOSSETT WAS OF SOUND AND DISPOSING MIND, AND MORE THAT TWENTY-ONE YEARS OF AGE.
