Looking for ANY information on E. C. and Nancy Sanders. Probably born about 1880. Children were Fannie, Ollie, Maudie, Josie, Robert, Ellison, Percy, Leroy, and Cornelius. My grandmother was Fannie, born in 1905 and married Morrell Ezell. I can't find any information about her ancestors. The Sanders may have been originally from the Union Church area.

Charles (Culpepper) WARREN b. 5 Feb 1820, MS; married Lenora SCOTT 13 Jan 1842, Franklin Co., MS (Lenora b. 1824); children: Nehimiah B. b. 15 Apr 1842, MS; John Winfield b. 1846, MS. Lenora is first wife--believe family lived in Jefferson Co., MS. (Charles & the 2 boys & a Mary WARREN age 70 from SC show up on the 1850 Jefferson Co. Census.)

On 17 Sep 1850 Charles WARREN married 2nd wife Ann SMITH; children: Florence C. b. 16 Apr 1855, Union Church, Jefferson Co., MS. Around 1856/57 the family moved to New Waverly, TX.

Could Lenora be child of Nehimiah & Margaret Lee SCOTT m. 14 Aug 1823 in Franklin Co., MS? Trying to find family of Charles Warren in Jefferson CO.--late census records show his parents were born in GA? Looking for the Scott family & Smith family also. Happy to share information.

In researching CYNTHIA SMITH b. 1838, I received information that her father, NATHAN SMITH, SR., married 3rd MIRIAM PUTNUM. I had originally thought that ELIZABETH JACKSON was the mother of PLEASANT, BRANTLY, STEVEN and CYNTHIA SMITH. Is anyone researching MIRIAM PUTNAM or knows about this 3rd marriage?? THANKS.

I am researching the THORNTONS of Franklin, Amite and Pike Counties, MS. WILLIAM CARSON THORNTON, my great -great grandfather was born 1826 in AL. They migrated to Smith Co., MS ca 1840 where he married CAROLINE ELIZABETH SULLIVAN ca. 1849. William and his brother Henry Thornton moved to Pike Co. in 1860s. 1870 census shows him in Pike Co. William and family moved to Franklin Co. by 1880 living in the Cain district around Smithdale behind the Mount Olive Baptist Church. William and Caroline had 11 children. Allied families are the Hayman, Cloy, Gatlin, Nettles, Matthews, Rushing, Roundtree, McAlister, Steele and Merideth families. Would like info on these descendant and ancestry of William Carson Thornton.

Seeking information on the MOSES TYLER family in Copiah County, MS and surrounding areas. MOSES TYLER born about 1778 in SC and ELIZABETH MCCLOUD TYLER had three known children: Joseph ANDERSON TYLER b. abt 1829; REUBEN TYLER b. abt 1821; JOHN TYLER b. abt 1818; and MARY E. TYLER b. abt 1848. Evidently Elizabeth McCloud Tyler died in Copiah County between 1848-1850. I would like any info on her death/burial, etc. Moses Tyler left the area with his children in early 1850 for Bastrop Co., TX.

Joseph ANDERSON TYLER married ELIZA MITCHELL 27 Feb 1850 just prior to their departure for Texas. Any info on Eliza's family would also be appreciated.
