BRADFORD, BRADLEY, BURR, CHISHOLM, TRAVIS posted by Perry Burr on Monday, March 9, 1998 I am looking for any info on the following family names: Cade BURR son of Murdick and Emma BURR. Murdick Burr Was the son Of Monroe BURR ( he was adopted from the Hunts) and Victoria TRAVIS. They came from the McComb or Brookhaven area it is belived. Also looking for info on Sarah CHISHOLM. She was the daughter of Danial W. CHISHOLM and Cecilla ( not sure if her madian name was BRADLEY or BRADFORD). If you can help me with this serch I will very happy. This is my father's side of the family and it if difficult to find any info on them because no one remebers much. Great Grandmother Vasty, Grandfather George Ollie Hilton born Sept 1884 in Brookhaven. Had 3 brothers, John , Tom and Elhe, 2 sisters Carrie and Lulu. I have notes made by my uncle that my grandfather George worked on the railroad don't know if this is a fact. He married my grandmother Rose Fazekas on Feb. 1, 1911 in Hammond La. The notes also state that my great great grandfather was also born in Brookhaven but unfortunately I do not know his name.
