Moore Family Bible

Mrs. Myrtie West Moore (Mrs. Walter Fox Moore) and Rose Diamond returned to the home of Mrs. Moore in Slate Spring after taking a transcription of the Moore Cemetery. It was once owned by Mr. and Mrs. James Fair Phillips. She has a Moore family Bible printed in 1859 which contains the following information:

Alice Cathiron Moore Departed this life August the 21, 1868, {This entry is difficult to read. The name on the tombstone in the Moore Cemetery is Alice Catherine Moore}

They moved to Dublin, Texas. Mrs. Myrtie West Moore has a picture of Moore’s Wagon yard in Dublin, Texas.
