Bob Caldwell's notes on this transcription:

Received via e-mail February 20, 2011.It is with great trepidation that I venture to suggest a very few corrections in the Old Banner Cemetery listing [above]:

Martha Caldwell Sanders should be Martha Caldwell Snyder. She was the daughter of Laura Louise Caldwell and Alex Caldwell (also in this cemetery) and married Hugh Clay Snyder (H. C. Snyder in the listing). Laura Louise Seale was born in Alabama, as was her husband Alexander Caldwell.

Sewell Snyder was the son of H. C. and M. H. Snyder. Great aunt Martha's middle initial was H., but we do not know what it stood for.

Missing is the grave of Nona L. Snyder, "infant daughter of H. C. and M. H. Snyder born Oct 25, 1891 died July 29, of 1893". That last date was hard to read when I was there in 1987. Could have been 1898, but 1893 fits better with the annotation of "infant daughter"

Lela Hutchinson "died July 5, 1874, aged __ months 26 days". Couldn't make it out.

In 1987, we could read Lee Arnold's dates: May 14, 1868 to November 12, 1870.

There was also "S. A. Arnold, son of W. T. and N. C Arnold, born Jan. 31, 1861, died Jan. 14, 1867, Gone too soon".

M. A. Knight was the wife of A. J. Knight.

We read "Amnie Beetie White" as "Annis Birdie White".

Also we found another Hutchinson infant: "Tom, infant son of W. F. & S. S. Hutchinson, born Aug. 25, 1875, died Sept. 17, 1877".

"Nancy Ann, wife of Thomas Baker, Born Aug. 7, 1826, Died Sept. 7, 1890".

This certainly is tedious work, isn't it,
Bob

I thought I should submit these notes taken 23 years ago.
