PRENTISS - Services are 2 p.m. today at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss for the Rev. Richard "Ricky" Hamilton, 55, and his wife, Colleen R. Hamilton, 57, both of Prentiss, both of whom died March 16, 2010. Rev. Hamilton died at Jefferson Davis County Hospital in Prentiss. Mrs. Hamilton died at Forrest General Hospital.
Burial is in Antioch Cemetery.
The Rev. Hamilton was the pastor at First Baptist Church in Sanford. He had served as a pastor at various churches in Covington County for the past 19 years. He was a member of the Local 114 Insulators.
Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Sanford.
Survivors include three daughters, Christy Daughdrill of Seminary, Mandy Calhoun of Collins and Laural Hendry of Bassfield; and five grandchildren.
The Rev. Hamilton is also survived by his mother, Bonnie Hamilton of Prentiss; a brother, Danny Hamilton of Prentiss; and a sister, Linda Polk of Prentiss.
Mrs. Hamilton is also survived by her parents, Charles and Dixie Reid of Richton; a brother, Leonard Reid of Gainesville, Fla.; and a sister, Marlene McInnis of Quitman.
Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by the Rev. Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larue Hamilton.
