HARRIS posted by Rhonda Schurhamer on Friday, December 27, 1996

Would like to correspond with anyone who has information on Ed Harris. The only information I have on him is that he was born in Mississippi. Ed married Minter Hamblin. They had 2 children, Jesse Eugene Harris (b. 9/17/1905) and Martha Harris (b. abt 1903), both in Pontotoc County, MS. All the information that I have on Ed Harris is that he left his wife, Minter, when Jesse was about 2 years old. Probably 1907 or 1908. The rumor is that he moved to Texas and changed his last name to Harrison. He supposedly got remarried and had more children in Texas. If anyone can help me I would greatly be appreciated. I have looked in the census and find no record of him. Thanks
