    I am researching my grandfather's family. William Teague McReynolds was born on December 16, 1883 in Ecru. He married Lalah Bodice Harris, who was also born in Mississippi. His father, Peyton Randolf McReynolds, died in 1894. His mother, Mary Pitts, died in 1890. He had two older brothers. I have not found any information on the McReynolds family in Mississippi. Is anyone researching this family?

    Hezekiah Richardson 1850 Pontotoc,Ms. Simmie or James Simmie Phillips lived in Pontotoc in early 1900,s and died there before 1910. His wife was Lela Jeffries.

    Francis Marion CARLTON married Mary Jane WILLIAMS, daughter of Spratley and Elizabeth WILLIAMS 8/4/1853 in Ellistown, Pontontoc Co. Spratley was killed in 1860 when a tree fell on him. Francis and the widow Williams moved to AR in 1860. Word has it that the Williams came to MS from AL. Information about the Williams family will be appreciated.

    In the 1860 Pontonoc County Census, T.G. Roby was married to Nancy Ann Philpot and had two children.(Jesse Robert & Loiusa A.) By 1870 Nancy Ann is listed in Desoto County Miss and is married to John Q. Holliday. In additon to her two previous children, she now has several more kids from this second marriage. I am interested in any data that you might have on this family. I have a lot of info and am willing to share my information. - I have a special interest in finding more about T.G. Roby and his linneage

    Thomas Benjamin Brady was born August 23, 1852. His Texas death certificate lists the place of birth as Pueblo, Mississippi, and says that his father (name unknown) was also born in Mississippi. Any information on the family of Thomas Benjamin Brady?

    John Thomas Leslie was in what is now Madison County Florida by 1842 and may have gone there wih older brother Leroy Gilliland Leslie around 1829 from Abbeville,SC. In his pension papers from his service in Florida Seminole War he lists as one of his places of residence Pontotoc MS. His father was John Harris Lesley, grandfather was William Lesley of Abbeville,SC.who married Ann Caldwell in1778. Ann d 1800; William d.1821 Ithink James Thomas may have gone with relatives or a group migration from Abbeville. Appreciate any data of such a group migration you could share

    William Gossett Bullard is listed as being buried in the New Salem cemetery in Pontotoc County. He died in 1867. His wife Mary Sweeny is buried there also. Is New Salem a town or the name of a cemetery? Thanks for any help on this.
