If you have ancestors in your county that served in regiments other than your Regiments, please let me know. I will place their names on the Misc. Regiments page with your email address attached.
If you have information on a specific soldier: his picture, biographical information, pension records, etc., you may send that to me and I will add a new page for your "Soldier." The soldier must have been a part of an Historical War prior to 1920 and MUST have a connection to Jefferson County.
Mississippi suffered the highest percentage dead of any Confederate State in the Civil War. 78,000 Mississippians entered the Confederate military. By the end of the war, 59,000 of these 78,000 were either dead or wounded.
