Mrs. Effie Huckaby Dies At Sarepta 

Mrs. Effie Hipp Huckaby, 81, died at her home in the Sarepta section last Friday. Services were held at Sarepta Baptist Church Sat. with Rev. Paul Young and Rev. E.A. Bailey officiating. Interment followed in the Sarepta cemetery with Cook Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Huckaby was born in Texas but had lived in the Sarepta section for over 50 years. She was a member of the Methodist church. Her husband died a number of years ago.

She leaves one son, W.D. Huckaby, Sarepta; two daughters, Mrs. Sidney Cooper and Miss Etta [sic] Huckaby, Sarepta; a brother, Leslie Hipp, Oxford; a half-brother, Eula Hipp, Oxford; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Garrett, Oxford; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
