Mr. Robert Durell Miller, 80, died at 1:40 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, 1987, at Oxford-Lafayette Medical Center following an extended illness. He resided at Bruce and was a retired machinist. He was a member of the Concord Baptist Church.

Born April 27, 1907 in Yalobusha County, he was the son of Phil Miller and Cora Vaughan Miller.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Bera Kimbrell Miller of Bruce; three sisters, Mrs. Katie Logan of Bruce, Mrs. Ruby Morgan of Water Valley, and Mrs. Corrine McClennan of Mobile, Ala.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. July 16 at Concord Baptist Church. Rev. Chuck Quarles officiated, assisted by Rev. Larry Hill. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery. Pallbears were Rowland Smith, Tommy Thomas, Tommy Faison, Ricky Faison, Scotty Hughes, and Jimmy Hughes.
Pryor Funeral Home, Calhoun City, was in charge of arrangements.
