Mrs. Ruby Melton Buried At Elam

Mrs. Ruby Phillips Melton, widow of Curtis Melton, died Thursday, February 21, at the North Mississippi Retirement Home in Grenada, after a long illness. She was 62. Her husband died last month, January 7.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday at Garner Funeral Home in Grenada. Burial was in Elam Cemetery.

She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Ronald Bennett of Duck Hill; her mother, Mrs. Lula Phillips of Sarepta, and a sister, Mrs. Nina Freeman of Grenada.
