He married Sarah Dial in Newberry Dist. SC, 1797. (Sarah Dial is #139.) Sarah became the mother of Jane Hopper in Newberr Dist. SC, 1799. Sarah became the mother of William Hopper in Newberry Dist, SC, 1800. Sarah became the mother of Mary Ann Hopper in Newbery, SC, 1803. Sarah became the mother of Margaret Hopper in Newberry Co. SC, 1807. Sarah became the mother of John Hopper in SC, 5 /8/1809. 
At 33 years of age Hugh became the father of Jane Hopper in Newberr Dist. SC, 1799. At 34 years of age Hugh became the father of William Hopper in Newberry Dist, SC, 1800. At 37 years of age Hugh became the father of Mary Ann Hopper in Newbery, SC, 1803. At 41 years of age Hugh became the father of Margaret Hopper in Newberry Co. SC, 1807. He married Sarah P. Key in Greene Co. AL, 1830. (Sarah P. Key is #145.) Sarah was born in newberry dist. SC abt. 1804. She was the daughter of Mr. Key and Mrs Key. 
5 iii. Mary Ann Hopper (#148) was born in Newbery, SC 1803. 
She married Kennard Bennett. (Kennard Bennett is #149.) 
Mary died 1830 in Green Co. ALA, at 27 years of age. 
6 iv. Margaret Hopper (#150) was born in Newberry Co. SC 1807. 
She married James A. Johnson in Newberry SC, 1834. (James A. Johnson is #151.)

7. John3 Hopper (Hugh2, William1) (#98) was born in SC 5 /8/1809. 
He married Drucilla Hopper in Green co. ALA, 9/19/1834. (Drucilla Hopper is #99.) Drucilla was born in Horry co. SC 4/13/1815. She was the daughter of Mr Dorman and Mrs dorman. At 23 years of age Drucilla became the mother of Hugh Alexander Hopper Sumter, AL, 1/22/1839. Drucilla became the mother of William Hopper in Kemper, co. MS, abt1839. Drucilla became the mother of Newton Hopper in Kemper co. MS, abt 1847. At 33 years of age Drucilla became the mother of John Nelson Hopper in Sumter co., ALA, 5/30/1848. At 34 years of age Drucilla became the mother of Edward "ned" Hopper in Kemper co. MS, 1849. At 37 years of age Drucilla became the mother of George Henry Clay Hopper in Sumter Co., ALA, 4/19/ 1852. Drucilla became the mother of Julia Hopper in Kemper Co., MS, abt 1854. At 40 years of age Drucilla became the mother of Sally P. Hopper in Kemper co., MS, 1855. Drucilla became the mother of Mararet Hopper in Kemper Co., MS, abt 1857. Drucilla died 3/1/1901 DeKalb, MS, at 85 years of age. Her body was interred 3/3/1901 DeKalb, MS, Pinecrest. 
At 29 years of age John became the father of Hugh Alexander Hopper Sumter, AL, 1/22/1839. John became the father of William Hopper in Kemper, co.MS, abt1839. John became the father of Newton Hopper in Kemper co.MS, abt 1847. At 39 years of age John became the father of John Nelson Hopper in Sumter co., ALA, 5/30/1848. At 40 years of age John became the father of Edward "ned" Hopper in Kemper co. MS, 1849. At 42 years of age John became the father of George Henry Clay Hopper in Sumter Co., ALA, 4/19/ 1852. John became the father of Julia Hopper in Kemper Co., MS, abt 1854. At 46 years of age John became the father of Sally P. Hopper in Kemper co., MS, 1855. His body was interred 5/8/1857 in Boyd Cemetery Sumter ALA, Boyd. 
John Hopper was killed when he fell from his horse while chasing a criminal. John was a lawman and a farmer. 
John died 1857 in Sumter, co. ALA, at 48 years of age. John was a farmer and lawman. Cause of death. fell from his horse while chasing a criminal, 
John became the father of Mararet Hopper in Kemper Co., MS, abt 1857. 

John Hopper and Drucilla Hopper had the following children:

He married Molly McRae in Kemper co. MS, abt1868. (Molly McRae is #159.) 
John died abt1905 in Kemper co., MS. 
12 v. Edward "ned" Hopper (#162) was born in Kemper co. MS 1849. 
He married Sally West in Kemper co. MS, abt 1868. (Sally West is #163.) 
He married Lelia May Lang in Kemper Co., MS, abt1872. (Lelia May Lang is #164.)

She married Steve Hammack in Kemper Co., MS, abt 1875. (Steve Hammack is #168.) 
15 viii. Sally P. Hopper (#169) was born in Kemper co., MS 1855. 
She married Wes Hailey in Kemper co.MS, abt 1876. (Wes Hailey is #170.) 
16 ix. Mararet Hopper (#171) was born in Kemper Co., MS abt 1857. 
She married Jim Jinkens in Kemper Co. MS, abt 1879. (Jim Jinkens is #172.) 

Fourth Generation 

8. Hugh Alexander4 Hopper (John3, Hugh2, William1) (#3) was born Sumter, AL 1/22/1839. 
He married Catherine Mc Rae Kemper Co. DeKalb, 1855. (Catherine Mc Rae is #2.) Catherine was born in MS 1837. Catherine became the mother of Ella Hopper abt 1855. Catherine became the mother of Mollie Hopper DeKalb, MS, abt1861. At 26 years of age Catherine became the mother of James Alexander Hopper DeKalb MS, 5/6/1864. Catherine died 1882 DeKalb, MS, at 45 years of age. Her body was interred 1882 in Dekalb, MS, Private McRae rte209. 
Hugh became the father of Ella Hopper abt 1855. Hugh became the father of Mollie Hopper DeKalb, MS, abt1861. At 25 years of age Hugh became the father of James Alexander Hopper DeKalb MS, 5/6/1864. Hugh died 1907 DeKalb, MS, at 68 years of age. His body was interred 1907 DeKalb, MS, Private, McRae hy 207. Hugh Alexander Hoppper inlisted in the confederate army 1861, Company H,36th Missippi volumteer infantry, and served untilthe close of struggle. After the war he was appointed Sheriff of Kemper Co. Later he was elected Treasurer. In the discharge of those duties pertaining to those offices he was faithful and effeciant, and gave intire satisfaction to the people of the County 

Hugh Alexander Hopper and Catherine Mc Rae had the following children:

+ 18 ii. Mollie Hopper was born abt1861. 
+ 19 iii. James Alexander Hopper was born 5/6/1864 and died 1899. 

13. George Henry Clay4 Hopper (John3, Hugh2, William1) (#165) was born in Sumter Co., ALA 4/19/ 1852. 
He married Mary Frances Bethany in Kemper Co. MS, abt1880. (Mary Frances Bethany is #166.) Mary became the mother of Julia Catherine Hopper DeKalb, MS, 9/16/1883. 
At 31 years of age George became the father of Julia Catherine Hopper DeKalb, MS, 9/16/1883. 

George Henry Clay Hopper and Mary Frances Bethany had the following child: 

+ 20 i. Julia Catherine5 Hopper was born 9/16/1883 and died 7/15/1950.

18. Mollie5 Hopper (Hugh Alexander4, John3, Hugh2, William1) (#100) was born DeKalb, MS abt1861. 
She married Joe Rosenbaum abt 1886. (Joe Rosenbaum is #101.) Joe was born abt1856. Joe became the father of Mabel Rosenbaum DeKalb, MS, 1889 abt. 
Mollie became the mother of Mabel Rosenbaum DeKalb, MS, 1889 abt. 

Mollie Hopper and Joe Rosenbaum had the following child: 

+ 21 i. Mabel6 Rosenbaum was born 1889 abt. 

19. James Alexander5 Hopper (Hugh Alexander4, John3, Hugh2, William1) (#1) was born DeKalb MS 5/6/1864. 
He married Sarah Delchamp Dekalb MS, 1892. (Sarah Delchamp is #4.) Sarah was born Mobile Ala 1864. She was the daughter of J.J. Delchamp and Sarah E. Delchamp. At 28 years of age Sarah became the mother of Harold Earl Hopper DeKalb, MS, 5/6/1893. 
At 29 years of age James became the father of Harold Earl Hopper DeKalb, MS, 5/6/1893. James died 1899 Dekalb, MS, at 35 years of age. James Alexander Hopper born in Kemper County 1864. and recieved his education in the commons schools and at Oxford University. After leaving he engaged in merchantile trade, his father owning the other half interest in the business. He has displayed good Judgement and more than ordinary ability, and bids fair to take his place in the front rank of Kemper county merchants 

James Alexander Hopper and Sarah Delchamp had the following child: 

+ 22 i. Harold Earl6 Hopper was born 5/6/1893 and died 5/24/1961. 

20. Julia Catherine5 Hopper (George Henry Clay4, John3, Hugh2, William1) (#173) was born DeKalb, MS 9/16/1883. 
She married John Calvin Lang DeKalb, MS, 10/9/1912. (John Calvin Lang is #174.) John became the father of Oubre Allen Lang DeKalb, MS, 8/18/1913. 
At 29 years of age Julia became the mother of Oubre Allen Lang DeKalb, MS, 8/18/1913. Julia died 7/15/1950 in KeKalb, MS, at 66 years of age. Her body was interred 7/17/1950 DeKalb, MS, Pinecrest. 

Julia Catherine Hopper and John Calvin Lang had the following child: 

23 i. Oubre Allen6 Lang (#175) was born DeKalb, MS 8/18/1913. 
He married Georgia Agusta Floore DeKalb, MS, 12/12/1944. (Georgia Agusta Floore is #176.) Georgia was born in Gholson, Kemper MS 7/10/1922. She is the daughter of Mr. Floore and Mrs Floore. 

Sixth Generation 

21. Mabel6 Rosenbaum (Mollie5 Hopper, Hugh Alexander4, John3, Hugh2, William1) (#102) was born DeKalb, MS 1889 abt. 
She married Arnold Harbour DeKalb, MS, abt1902. (Arnold Harbour is #103.) Arnold was born abt1886. At 42 years of age Arnold became the father of Fredie Dale Harbour in DeKALB, MS, 1928. 
At 39 years of age Mabel became the mother of Fredie Dale Harbour in DeKALB, MS, 1928. 

Mabel Rosenbaum and Arnold Harbour had the following child: 

+ 24 i. Fredie Dale7 Harbour was born 1928. 

22. Harold Earl6 Hopper (James Alexander5, Hugh Alexander4, John3, Hugh2, William1) (#7) was born DeKalb, MS 5/6/1893. 
He married Genevieve Elliott Hopper DeKalb presbyterian Church, 10/18/1912. (Genevieve Elliott Hopper is #8.) Genevieve was born Lulu MS 6/23/1894. She was the daughter of Willie Jackson Elliott and Willie Mansfield McGill. At 19 years of age Genevieve became the mother of Doris Eugenia Hopper DeKalb, MS, 7/15/1913. At 21 years of age Genevieve became the mother of Sarah D. Hopper DeKalb, MS, 6/19/1916. At 24 years of age Genevieve became the mother of Jimmie Clyde Hopper DeKalb, MS, 8/6/1918. At 26 years of age Genevieve became the mother of Shirley Hopper DeKalb, MS, 10/5/1920. At 31 years of age Genevieve became the mother of Harold Earl Hopper Jr. Shreveport LA., 6/11/1926. Genevieve died 4/10/1979 Knoxville, Tn, at 84 years of age. Her body was interred 4/13/1979 Ripley, MS. 
At 20 years of age Harold became the father of Doris Eugenia Hopper DeKalb, MS, 7/15/1913. At 23 years of age Harold became the father of Sarah D. Hopper DeKalb, MS, 6/19/1916. At 25 years of age Harold became the father of Jimmie Clyde Hopper DeKalb, MS, 8/6/1918. At 27 years of age Harold became the father of Shirley Hopper DeKalb, MS, 10/5/1920. At 33 years of age Harold became the father of Harold Earl Hopper Jr. Shreveport LA., 6/11/1926. 
He married Maudene Skull Hopper in Blyeville, Arkansas, 7/19/1936. (Maudene Skull Hopper is #182.) 
At 45 years of age Harold became the father of a son (Private)., 10/9/1938. At 54 years of age Harold became the father of a daughter (Private). Harold died 5/24/1961 in Memphis, TN, at 68 years of age. His body was interred 5/26/1961 in Ripley, MS. 

Harold Earl Hopper and Genevieve Elliott Hopper had the following children: 

+ 25 i. Doris Eugenia7 Hopper was born 7/15/1913 and died 7/5/1973. 
26 ii. Sarah D. Hopper (#20) was born DeKalb, MS 6/19/1916. Her body was interred 1923 DeKalb, MS, Pinecrest. Sarah died 1923 DeKalb, MS, at 7 years of age. 
+ 27 iii. Jimmie Clyde Hopper was born 8/6/1918 and died 8/14/1964. 
28 iv. Shirley Hopper (#34) was born DeKalb, MS 10/5/1920. She married Virgil Clayton Williams in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., 1941. (Virgil Clayton Williams is #35.) Virgil was born Dalton.GA 1918. He is the son of Mr. Clayton Williams and Mrs Williams. 
Shirley died 11/2/1943 in Memphis, TN., at 23 years of age. Her body was interred 11/4/1943 Ripley, MS.

Harold Earl Hopper and Maudene Shull Hopper had the following children:
